Arrested Judge Heads to Trial

Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan has been suspended from her judicial duties by the Wisconsin Supreme Court after being charged with two federal felonies for assisting an undocumented immigrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, in evading Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Dugan is accused of escorting Flores-Ruiz, who has a history of violent criminal charges, through a restricted courthouse exit to avoid ICE agents; she is scheduled to stand trial beginning May 15.
