When a series of murders occurs at a spooky resort hotel, bellhop Freddie (Lou Costello) becomes the prime suspect. With the help of his skeptical boss Casey (Bud Abbott), he must clear his name while dodging danger, corpses, and a mysterious swami played by Boris Karloff.
