GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | Side Activities: ALL RACE TOURNAMENTS

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, race tournaments are side activities where Carl must finish first to win. The exception is the air races, which have no competitors or time limits—just finishing the course is enough. Most races reward $10,000 upon victory, and completing all races in first place grants an extra $1,000,000 and counts toward 100% game completion.

Races take place across Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas, with tournaments marked by a checkered flag icon on the map. Each race provides a set vehicle, and road races often feature hazards like obstacles, cliffs, and water. Losing a vehicle, getting busted, or being wasted will fail the race attempt.

Some races mirror earlier story missions but are still available for replay without affecting completion. It's advised not to bring any prized vehicles to the race markers, as they will disappear after the race.

• Los Santos Race Tournaments: Lowrider Race, Little Loop, Backroad Wanderer, City Circuit, Vinewood, Freeway, Into the Country, Badlands A, Badlands B.
• San Fierro Race Tournaments: Dirtbike Danger, Bandito County, Go-Go Karting, San Fierro Fastlane, San Fierro Hills, Country Endurance.
• Las Venturas Freight Depot Race Tournaments: SF to LV, Dam Rider, Desert Tricks, LV Ringroad.
• Las Venturas Airport Checkpoint Races: World War Ace, Barnstorming, Military Service, Chopper Checkpoint, Whirly Bird Waypoint, Heli Hell.
