Vatican installs chimney to prepare conclave smoke signals

Tourists and pilgrims gathered in St Peter’s Square on Friday (May 2) watched as workers installed the pipe of the chimney on the roof of the Sistine Chapel which will be used in burning the ballots for the conclave that will elect a successor to Pope Francis.
