As Fathers We have to Do More than Just be There

As fathers we have to do more than just be there.

It matters what we're giving them. Let's set our standards higher than just being a task doer, transportation giver, and income generator.

It matters how you make your kids feel. It matters that you spend quality time with them.

Your kids want you to play with them. They want you to give them eye contact. They want you to choose them. They want to know you actually enjoy spending time with them.

If you're worried about looking stupid get over it. I'd rather fill my kids with joy and look stupid running up and down a playground then leave them feeling lonely and keep my ego intact.
