THE RACE BASED NZ HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION'S PARTNERSHIP WITH IWI/MAORI

THE SOCIAL MEDIA SITE 'THE PLATFORM’ BOUGHT IT TO MY ATTENTION ONCE AGAIN THAT CLAIRE CHARTERS WAS DOING HER USUAL FLITTING BACK TO THE UN AGAIN LAST MONTH. (April 2025). I urge New Zealanders to really get to know what is happening here.

Winston Peters and David Seymour have become an almighty thorn in the side (Pain in the butt) for those Iwi/Maori whom are very determined to implement a 'two class citizenship' in New Zealand. Which will give certain Iwi/Maori Rights that other New Zealand Citizens do not have.

Recently the Platform spoke about Claire Charters recent visit to the UN. This of course is not her first visit to the UN. She is very outspoken in the UN Assembly. This time she is speaking to high ranking UN Senior Officials about the Repressive Three Party Coalition. She is requesting that the UN interfere with NZ Constitutional Arrangements to demand that the 3 Party Coalition embed the UN Declaration into NZ Legislation. Complains that Peters "will get rid of the UNDRIP in NZ" and that Peters has said that "Maori are not Indigenous:"

There is so much more we should all know about this. So I have gathered together evidential research from the UN Website, from speeches in the Beehive. From official documentation recorded of the Maori Council Meeting in 2010 officially stamped by the Ministry Of Justice and Waitangi Tribunal. And the UN News from the UN Assembly 13th September 2007

The UNDRIP and the UN Agenda 2030 for SDGs are interconnected, with the UNDRIP providing a framework for UN Global Development Goals to be implemented. The SDGs explicitly recognize Indigenous Peoples Rights and call for their active engagement to implement Global Agenda 2030 global goal Nationally, Regionally- Locally

The UNDRIP also emphasizes the importance of partnerships between indigenous peoples and states in achieving sustainable development.

The 2030 Agenda recognizes the critical role of indigenous peoples in achieving sustainable development and commits to "leave no one behind," including indigenous peoples.

The SDGs explicitly mention indigenous peoples in at least six targets

The SDGs also recognize indigenous peoples' knowledge and practices related to sustainable resource management. The collaboration and Partnership: The 2030 Agenda emphasizes the importance of engaging indigenous peoples in the implementation and review of the SDGs.

This includes involving indigenous peoples in national planning and decision-making processes. The UN system also supports the participation of indigenous peoples in the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) and other UN processes related to the SDGs.

In essence, the UNDRIP provides a human rights framework for the SDGs, ensuring that the rights and needs of indigenous peoples are considered in the pursuit of sustainable development.

The 2030 Agenda, in turn, recognizes the importance of indigenous peoples' contributions and actively seeks to empower them in achieving the goals.

Therefore certain Iwi/Māori have much to gain by labeling themselves the coined phrase ‘Indigenous Peoples’.

This is an ongoing serious issue in NZ so I urge NZ Citizens to view this video of evidence based research.
