Numbers 13 – Were the sons of Anak giants (Nephilim)? 2023

Num 13:33
"There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."

The sons of Anak are described as "giants." The word used is the word "Nephalim." It is only used one other time in Scripture. That is in Genesis 6:1-4 and that seems to be describing the descendants of a union between righteous men and unrighteous women in that day. They were described as giants (KJV, NKJV) also. The sons of Anak are described as being very similar. The other spies were convinced that Elohim could not follow through with His promise of delivering the people.
