Most Experimental Vid I've Done | Speedpaint / Poem Reading (Jubilant Remorse)

Howdy, I've felt very up and down this semester, I think how the term ended, with total screeching burnout and then utter relief right at the end, is encapsulated well here. I hope you'll enjoy this experiment of mine, and forgive the clickbaityish title.

My Poem: Jubilant Remorse:
"As honey grain,
ever resplendently fruitful upon the eve of its despair,
will too melt and recoil from its life pitifully,
so too I have wept this pain unto the earth’s ashen bones,
which I have wrought upon myself in jubilant remorse.

I wish to let my meat be molted on judgements wing,
and flown away to be spun anew of threads of souls,
in the tapestry ever greater than myself,
so that I may be filled again from hollowness,
which devours my insomnious eyes.

Still so, regretfully selfish,
I assume my standard and despair,
for the weakness I have fostered,
is too great to give up my strength left,
though little it is kindled burns.

It is then so, I am ruined,
upon the smoldering pyre of my indulgences,
the muse of my desolation, I am numb.

Only in reflection now do I witness,
what I have sown will bear fruiting stem from this ash,
as its nature is to do so,
though littler still will I feel the diminishing warmth,
of my flame despite this,
and will discover no respite in this learned fruit of knowledge,
for cursed is its coming to me that I would sacrifice,
my glow for this acumen.

My lamentations for this perspicuity unheard,
and resounding within me,
I lament my gladness of it being done,
and having been done, yet too I am glad,
so deeply glad. "
