A large fight broke out at Kean University after a concert late Wednesday night as Homecoming celebrations began, university officials said.

While what actually sparked the fight at the Union Township campus remains unclear, students said the rowdiness began at a sold out concert for rapper Lil Baby when someone in the audience jumped on stage for a selfie.

A fight between 15 to 20 people broke out outside after the show, said Tyler Mickens, a Kean senior who attended the concert. Cops quickly broke up the fight, but the melee continued shortly after.
