James Szubski’s family owns and operates Margie’s Outdoor Store, a brick-and-mortar adventure shop in Bingen Washington which is world-famous for its paranormal reporting program. In less than four years, the store has received more than 400 reports of anomalous phenomena in the Columbia River Gorge area. This includes UFO/UAP encounters, Sasquatch sightings, portal activity, ghost experiences, and more than 130 reports of mysterious and enormous black panther-like creatures known locally as the Klickitat Ape Cat.

James attributes the success of the reporting program to his dedication to making his store a safe place for ordinary people to talk about their extraordinary experiences. He theorizes that the high degree of unusual activity in the Gorge may be linked to its extremely unique electromagnetic environment and the area’s history of secret government programs.

When possible, James conducts follow-up investigations of the phenomena reported at his store. During those investigations, he has experienced numerous strange phenomena firsthand.

James is a decorated US Army Infantry veteran, a former wildland firefighter, and a nationally certified Search & Rescue EMT.
