This Message is NOT For Lukewarm Christians.

Jesus speaks strongly against lukewarm faith in Revelation 3, where He addresses the church in Laodicea. He states, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of my mouth." This passage emphasizes the importance of being fully committed to following Jesus Christ and carrying your cross daily rather than having a half-hearted or indifferent attitude.

The imagery of being "vomited out" of Jesus' mouth underscores the severity of His warning against lukewarmness. This concept is further elaborated in other verses, such as 1 John 2, which advises against loving the world and its desires, and Matthew 7, which warns that not everyone who calls Jesus "Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven.

The principle of avoiding lukewarmness in faith is a recurring theme in Christian teachings, highlighting the importance of a fervent and dedicated relationship with God.

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation.
15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
