Prerequisites for Receiving the Royal Priesthood of Melchisedek

Today, we lay a firm foundation for understanding the Priesthood Yeshua has given to us. We began with a quick review of last weeks teaching then proceed to define some important terms and connect both Old and New Testament scriptures. We cover the four places "finger of God" occur (Exo. 8:19; Exo. 31:18; Deu. 9:10; Luk. 11:20). We address what scripture teaches concerning what we should expect when we come to God to receive this power from on High, and we of course address the hindrances that can prevent you from receiving. How we are admonished repeatedly the importance of forgiving others of their transgresses against us in order to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Defeating the Spirit of Fear requires we are familiar with how to use our sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. For that reason this teaching is very important in preparing us for receiving that which Yeshua said it is expedient that He goes away so that the Comforter would then come.
