Matt Towery: Our Poll Has Trump Up 46-44, But 10% Are Undecided

But you told me it was going to come, and there’s a reason why. And it’s the same people that have never polled Trump right in ’16, ’20 or ’24. Let me say one more thing, to the credit of both of you, both your polling companies, aren’t they in the top three, the last three political — the last three presidential cycles? Matt.”

TOWERY: “Yeah, real clear politics had us in the top three in the last three cycles that Trump was in, and active vote just ranked pollsters and we’re number two or three or four or something like that. We’re at the top because they judge just based on error rate. I want to make a note about this. Our poll that we have right now has Trump up 46-44, but there’s a big but to that. 10% are undecided and Robert and I both know, when we see undecide, and you’ve had a string of polls showing he was down, that means that undecided will distribute probably 70% 80% to Trump. We just don’t force people to have to choose and that’s the difference. He is definitely on the rise. You’ll see them on your show and Laura Ingraham’s but you will not see them on the news. There’s a blackout on the accurate pollsters. One last thing maybe we ought to have an index or average on Donald Trump’s job performance and take the pollsters ranked with the lowest error rate and let us poll it and then let everybody else with the big name that they public poll it and we’ll see who’s right.”
