I review Soviet Weapons of the Afghan War released by Safar Publishing.

It covers pistols, machine guns, heavy guns, grenade launchers, and other miscellaneous items from Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan. It has a wide variety, such as mosins, AK-74s, Makarovs, RPGs, and more.

It is a fairly bird's eye view of many of these firearms, but it also has a lot of interesting quotes from soldiers who used these weapons in combat.
