Day 03: [Adrift]
I’m starting to feel the rhythm of this place. Woke up, downed some coffee, listened to Tim’s briefing. Today I dove into a cave to fix a valve that was acting up. The water seemed to pull at me, shadows moving in the dark. Moon’s lights caught fish darting through the reefs, a flicker of life that hit me hard. The rigs cast a heavy shadow, and I noticed oil clouding the water. UniTrench’s mark is all over this place, and I’m not blind to it. I’m just one diver, but it’s getting under my skin. Grabbed more materials to craft repair kits, keeping my gear in check. The sea’s still stunning, but it’s got an edge now. My thoughts keep wandering to things I’ve buried. Tim’s voice is steady, but it doesn’t keep the memories at bay.
