Shemini - Fire Not Commanded

God killed Nadab and Abihu because of an exuberant moment of worship. They seemed to love God and were excited to show it. What exactly did they do wrong?

The problem is that they ignored God's will. Proper worship of YHWH is obedience, not religious innovation.
