This informative documentary was produced in conjunction between Walt Disney Productions, The Florida State Government, and the three local Orlando networks. It covers the entire scope of Walt Disney's Florida Project from its announcement to construction to opening to the construction of EPCOT Center. It interviews all of the surviving key figures as well as includes archival footage of Walt Disney and his brother Roy.

The documentary aired simultaneously on all three Orland networks as well as playing in Walt Disney World to kick off the yearlong Centennial celebration. Unlike other Disney TV specials and documentaries, this one is a deep dive into the genuine reasons Florida was eager to have Walt Disney World constructed in their own backyard. Capitalism and patriotism is celebrated in both the constructing of Walt Disney World and the upcoming EPCOT Center.

Gene Burne narrates this program.
