Don't Cry For Me

Hello my friends. This video features a very special song that speaks about my faith in Jesus Christ, and the blessed hope that I have as a Christian, if I die before He returns. It will be a year ago this July, when I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lungs, and I thought then, that my time on earth was drawing to a close. But, by the grace of God, He brought me through it, for which I am eternally thankful.

Now that I am 74, I have a greater appreciation of how mortal we human beings are, as I have lost several members of my family and friends over the years, and one dear friend just recently. We are not guaranteed tomorrow, and I can't imagine what it would have been like, having to face the trials and tribulations that have come my way without my faith in my Savior.

The most quoted verse in the Bible is John 3:16, which says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." This is God's promise to all humanity. Eternal life is only possible through Jesus Christ, because of what He did for us on the cross on Calvary. Through His blood, He has made a way for us to be delivered from our lawlessness, aka sins, and to be reconciled to our Father in heaven. We are saved by grace alone and not works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is God's gift to humanity, if we accept the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
