John MacArthur is probably the leading proponent of Lordship Salvation and seems to me and Kevin to have an extreme version of the idea.

In contrast, we have "Free Grace" (which is usually presented in a very extreme way).

The problem with this false dichotomy is not just how extreme both positions usually are but the overemphasis on our works, fruit etc instead of on God's work and promises etc.

We'll have a look at some articles on the topic, and John 10 and 15 and other passages.
