I'm excited to share my artistic journey with you! My pastel and charcoal drawings begin with a solid foundation using my trusted charcoal set-24 sketches, establishing the outlines and base layers that anchor my creations.
For the vibrant middle layers, I harness the brilliance of soft pastels from Blockx set-72 or Rembrandt. These extraordinary colors breathe life into my work, allowing me to create dynamic shadows and deep effects while relishing the tactile joy of blending and smoothing with my fingertips! 😁✨
To capture intricate details and finishing like pores, lips, eyes, and hair, I turn to the exquisite Pitt pastel pencils from the Faber-Castell 60-set, enhanced by the soft white pencil for highlights that illuminate my art.
My choice of canvas is the remarkable Special Pastelist/Pastelmat/Sandy Paper from Clairefontaine, crafted to prevent smudging while facilitating the beautiful adhesion of my pastels and enriching my technique with its unique texture.
