National debt is approaching $37 trillion

As the national debt approaches $37 trillion, a recent survey reveals that a significant majority of voters are increasingly worried about the country's financial future. According to data from the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, 92% of Democrats, 88% of Independents, and 80% of Republicans say that recent economic turmoil and financial uncertainty have heightened their concerns about America's growing national debt.
