Shop back open after Fire

A Mackinac Island shop is back open after a fire broke out in an unoccupied apartment above the store Friday. Poppins suffered some water flooding from the firefighting efforts. An ozone machine was used overnight to eliminate any smoke odor. The shop reopened around noon Saturday, with the owner’s expressing gratitude for the community's support and the fire department's efforts in a Facebook post. David Barr Michigan News Source.
