Hollywood PANICKING After Trump’s Tariff Announcement for Foreign Produced Films

President Donald Trump shocked Hollywood with an announcement that he intends to impose a 100% tariff on all movies that are produced overseas.

What these tariffs will look like is still unclear, but one thing that is clear is that Hollywood has been losing productions steadily for the last decade to not only other states with more lucrative tax incentives, but more importantly to other countries. President Trump has been about bringing work back to America and this seems to be his big ask in order to return the film industry to American shores. That’s because Hollywood studios would not be able to function with the proposed tariffs.
