This is my favorite way to cook a whole chicken—juicy, flavorful, and perfect for your smoker or oven. I’m showing you my homemade chicken seasoning, how I prep it for max moisture, and a few tricks to make sure it’s never dry.

🧂 Homemade Chicken Seasoning Recipe
• 2 tsp Kosher salt
• 1 tsp White pepper
• 1 tsp Garlic powder
• ½ tsp Cumin
• ½ tsp Smoked paprika
• ½ tsp Onion powder
• 2 tsp Dried cilantro

🍗 Cook Temp & Time:
Smoked at 250°F until 160°F internal (rested to 165°F)
→ Mine took 3 hours, 45 minutes for a 6.34 lb chicken (~36 min/lb)

🧠 Pro Tips:
• Stuff the cavity with celery, onion, and carrots for added moisture
• Cook breast-side down for juicier breast meat
• Tie legs and wings close to the body for even cooking
