On Saturday afternoon, during an attempted robbery on the El Socorro walkover, a 21-year-old woman was stabbed several times.
According to police, the woman was heading south toward DHL when a man coming from the other direction attempted to take her handbag. She fought back, and in the course of the struggle, the attacker stabbed her multiple times before escaping without the bag.
