Bill Johnson- Self interpretation 1 disciples thought they were wealthy

I learn from Bill Johnson a lot but sometimes he jumps into minor tangents from his personal observations, that dont have any real founding. In this case he assumes that disciples though they were rich because they told Jesus, who can be saved if not the rich?. To me it could be they thought themselves to be middle class or poor aspiring to be rich and be free from the worries of this world.
