Welcome back to Mr H and Friends! In today’s sweet and fluffy adventure, we're diving spoon-first into one of America’s most nostalgic desserts — Ambrosia Salad! That’s right, this fruity, creamy classic is a true retro staple across the United States, but for us Brits, it’s completely new!

Join Mr. H and Mrs. H as they make American Ambrosia Salad from scratch using ingredients like maraschino cherries, mandarin oranges, pineapple, and of course — mini marshmallows! To make it even more special, our little star Elana H joins in to help add the final touches (including LOTS of marshmallows!) and take part in the ultimate taste test. Her reaction is priceless!

💬 What is Ambrosia Salad?
This classic American dish dates back generations and is often served at holiday gatherings, potlucks, and family picnics. It’s light, fluffy, fruity, and oh-so-sweet — made with whipped topping, coconut, canned fruits, and sometimes sour cream or yogurt for a tangy twist. We’ve never had anything quite like it in the UK, so this is truly a brand-new experience!

There’s something heartwarming about food that brings people together — and Ambrosia Salad is exactly that. With Elana getting stuck in and the H family tasting it for the very first time, we had a proper giggle, a few surprises, and one or two very big spoons of cream!
