2. Means rejection of OT / Jewish roots of faith – Genesis covenant with Abraham – Jews chosen to bring message of God to the world, Israel as the chosen land and people. Moses / Torah particularly 10 Commandments, the Hebrew Prophets with their call to Justice and faith, Jesus / disciples / NT all Jewish. What the Jews have given the world.
3. Rejection of NT Jesus. Jewishness of Jesus / NT. Christian anti-Semitism against the Jews. Much of the church even rejecting Claims of Jesus as Messiah, Saviour and Lord. First coming to save us, second coming to judge the world in righteousness.
