Ep 1 - The Life of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, Islams First Caliph - Biography By Anwar Al Awlaki

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq was the successor to the Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W), and became the first Caliph of Islam. He was one of the Prophets greatest companions. This 15 part series of lectures covers the different aspects of the life of Abu Bakr (R.A.), including his life before Islam, during the life of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), and finally during his Khalifah.

This series naturally follows on from the comprehensive 3 volume series by Imaam Anwar Al Awlaki on the Life of the Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W).

Part 1 of 15 - Introduction to the series. This episode focuses on Abu Bakr's physical appearance, how he got his name and titles, and the broader context of who the Sahaba (companions) of the Prophet S.A.W were, and the unique places they all held within the early ranks of the Muslims.
