Often, solving a murder is like assembling a puzzle, as investigators try to piece together what happened in the hours, days, and weeks before a victim’s demise. But in the case of 29-year-old Elizabeth Barraza, much of the puzzle was assembled already: her murder was caught on camera. When Elizabeth was attacked just outside her home in Tomball, Texas on January 25th, 2019, security cameras from her neighbors’ homes captured the entire event on video. However, despite the existence of these grisly security recordings, Elizabeth’s killer has not been caught in the year since the crime. The 3I ATLAS comet is not just fast, it is the fastest interstellar object ever recorded, moving at over 130000 miles per hour. Scientists confirm this is only the third known interstellar object, following 1I ʻOumuamua and 2I Borisov. But what makes 3I ATLAS different has sparked intense debate across the scientific and UFO communities. Discovered by the ATLAS survey on July 1 2025 in Chile, 3I ATLAS follows a hyperbolic orbit that proves it came from outside our solar system. The NASA Hubble Space Telescope quickly locked onto the object and captured detailed images showing a teardrop-shaped dust cloud surrounding the nucleus. This outer coma appears to glow in front of the object rather than behind it. That alone is highly unusual and has led some researchers to question whether this could be more than a comet.
