Day 5
Verse:
Exodus 14:13 "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord."
Reflection:
When we stand firm and trust, God fights battles we could never win on our own.
Prayer:
"Lord, help me to stand still in faith today, knowing You are working on my behalf."
Confession:
"I stand firm! I will see the salvation of the Lord!"

“Stop Complaining and Stand Still”
When the Israelites saw Pharaoh's army charging toward them, they did what many of us do when fear hits: they panicked. They forgot the miracles. They forgot the blood on their doorposts. They forgot the God who brought Egypt to its knees with plagues. Instead, they cried out, not in faith, but in sarcasm, bitterness, and blame.
"Were there no graves in Egypt?"
"Why did you bring us here to die?"
It’s easy to mock them, until we realize how often we do the same. When pressure mounts, when we feel trapped, when we can’t see a way forward, we default to fear, accusation, and regret. We wish we had stayed where it was familiar, even if it was slavery.
But Moses gives a command that cuts through the complaining:
Ex 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today:
This is not the time to panic. It’s the time to shut your mouth, still your heart, and fix your eyes on God. Some battles aren’t won by your strength or your striving; they’re won in silence and surrender.

Stop murmuring. Stop forecasting your defeat. Stop comparing God’s way to your old chains. Stand still, not in weakness, but in spiritual defiance. You are not dying in this wilderness. You are about to watch the enemy be erased by the hand of the Lord.
