In this chapter, the first Passover is held, near Sinai. There were some men who knew they were ceremonially unclean, and wanted to participate, so God told Moses they could hold Passover the 14th day of the second month.

How did the Israelites know when to move, after setting up the tabernacle? God was there, in the form of a cloud during the day, and a pillar of fire at night, so the whole camp could see that God was dwelling among them.

They had to be ready to travel, and when the cloud moved, the camp moved until the cloud stopped. Then, they'd set up the tabernacle, and the rest of the camp based off of that.

How can we know, today, where God wants us? Do we ask Him?
