We have a big deal with Brian Kemp saying he is not running for US Senate against Jon Ossoff. This announcement happened at Seas Island where all the donors converge to hear from candidates as they perform for their money. Burt Jones and Chris Carr meet with donors. Burt Jones is not necessarily the most MAGA but with his donations and his family donations to Trump he is able to wear the MAGA hat, but his actions are not. GA still has paper ballots with Burt Jones as Lt Governor. Now Chris Carr just found his Trump support, after years of supporting liberal policies. Carr and Jones danced for the donors yesterday.
We are waiting on Mike Collins in the 10th district and Buddy Carter in the 1st to run for senate. The AJC is playing the game with MTG and she is playing right into it. If MTG runs for anything the 14th district is open. Now if MTG runs for either governor or senator she could win the primary. AJC has done everything to normalize her to run for senate. DC is not excited about her running for senate. If she becomes the senate candidate and gets the Trump endorsement what will that do?
There is a problem in the 1st district problem if Buddy Carter steps out with Kandiss Taylor possible run.
