The India/Pakistan Conflict Explained (Daily Snark #474)

India and Pakistan are on the brink of war, again—say that in Bill Murray’s voice, please—and though (much like Forrest Gump) I’m not a smart man, this has been going on since forever, and I think I have a handle on things.

Like many a news story, there are subtleties, nuances, and cultural aspects to this conflict that aren’t easily understood.

That said, as someone who studies human psychology, global conflict, the art (and act) or war, and who absolutely enjoys a fresh dish of Paneer Tikka Masala (with a side of Peshwari Naan) I believe I have both the capability and linguistic skills to explain things to your average viewer.

I may be no Walter Cronkite, but at least I’m not a Sean Hannity.
