If you’ve ever questioned where your money is going, this is essential viewing.

David Laity is a multifaceted figure in Cornwall, known for his roles as a former CID officer, legal educator, independent political candidate, and advocate for financial justice.

Law Enforcement and Legal Advocacy

Laity began his career in 1979 with the Devon and Cornwall Police, serving for 24 years. He gained experience in various departments, including emergency response, community policing, and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Notably, he became the youngest CID officer in the force, working on major cases across multiple towns.

After retiring from the police, Laity transitioned into legal education and advocacy. He co-founded Action4Justice, a platform supporting victims of banking fraud, particularly those affected by misconduct from institutions like Lloyds Bank.

Laity has been active in media, sharing his insights on financial and governmental accountability. He appeared on the Shelley Tasker Show, discussing his background and vision for Cornwall.
Additionally, he was featured in a UK Column video detailing his motivations for entering #politics and his commitment to community advocacy.
