Mayor marks 50 years

Margaret Doud will remain Mayor of the City of Mackinac Island for a 50th term. Doud ran unopposed in the recent elections. The Treasurer, Clerk, Assessor, and Supervisor, were also all uncontested and re-elected. The City Council election saw Lindsey White and Incumbent Richard Chambers secure seats. Voters also passed the school operating millage 260 to 21.
