Petoskey considers camping ban

The City of Petoskey is debating a proposed ordinance that would prohibit overnight camping on most public land. The draft ordinance is primarily aimed at managing seasonal traffic; however, it has potential impacts on the homeless population. The draft ordinance had its first reading by the city council Tuesday.
