Conclave

The conclave to elect a new pope is meeting in the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City as I write this. Francis has appointed the vast majority of the Cardinals, thus it doesn't look good for electing a strong Catholic pope in the natural world, but in the supernatural world God is in charge. No, the Holy Spirit doesn't pick the pope, the Cardinals are called to listen to and be led by the Holy Spirit. Everyone has free will though and they can vote any way they want, though they aren't supposed to. We can pray that the Cardinals listen to the Holy Spirit, if they do, we will get a Catholic pope.
The new pope has such a Francis mess to clean up. It will take a miracle to get the Catholic Church back on track. Like the U.S. government having a deep state, the Catholic Church has a deep church that is also entrenched. They would hate a Pope who tries to make the Catholic Church Catholic again.
Vatican II has been a disaster on every front. The Church should return to the Latin Mass and its sacred and wonderful traditions. It should get away from trying to blend in with society. The true Catholic Church is the moral compass for society, not a follower of society. Have prayed for and believing in a miracle that we get a strong Catholic Pope who is not afraid to tackle all of the many problems facing the Catholic Church and lead it back to being Catholic. No more synodal nonsense, or the approval sexual perversion and the squashing of the Mass of the ages, the Latin Mass.
