Raised on Rock

Grew up where the speakers screamed,
Posters on the wall, chasing wild dreams.
Leather jackets, broken rules,
Learned more in clubs than I did in school.

“Turn it down!” — but I turned it higher,
I was born in boots and baptized in fire.

Guitar in hand, we took the stage,
Young, loud, free — uncaged rage!

I was raised on rock, fed on flame,
Born for the sound, not fortune or fame!
Every chord, every scar,
Taught me to shine like a shooting star!
Raised on rock, can’t be bought,
We play it loud, we take the shot!
Turn it up, don’t ever stop—
We were born, raised on rock!

KISS posters, black light dreams,
Drums like thunder, laser beams.
We found our voice in a power chord,
No rules, no fear, just strike the Lord!

"Rock ain’t dead, it just sleeps late—
Wake it up, and feel the quake!"

From the vinyl crack to the stadium roar,
We bled this music, we wanted more.
We didn’t follow — we made the way,
Rocked the world and lit the stage!

I was raised on rock, born in flame,
Screamin’ loud, proud of the name!
KISS the sky, shake the block,
We ain’t stoppin’ — we’re raised on rock!
We were raised on rock, forged in sound,
Built to rise, never back down!
From backstreets to the top—
We were born… raised on rock!
