Journalist Philip Redfield (Ed Nelson) stumbles upon the secluded town of Peaceful Valley, New Mexico, while searching for directions. After witnessing a young girl use a mysterious device to make his dog vanish and reappear, Redfield becomes suspicious of the town's secrets.
