Battling Eminent Domain Threats for Farmland

Brown County, South Dakota farmer Kenneth Schafer was among landowners sued by Summit Carbon Solutions, which hopes to bury dangerous carbon capture pipeline through his farmland, disrupting his livelihood. When Summit tried to access his land without permission to survey for the project, he resisted. Summit accused him of threatening it's surveyors, an allegation he denied. In this exclusive interview with The John Birch Society, Schafer shares his experience and why he is fighting for his private property rights.
