A Mother Dream

In a small village, along a dusty path, there stood an old well.
Every morning, as the sun rose, women from the village came to fetch water.
A village scene with a well and three women carrying potsZainab, Rasheeda, and Kulsoom were busy drawing water.
They chatted and laughed as they worked.
The women smiling and filling their pots Suddenly, Zainab’s son, Ali, came walking back from school.
His uniform was dusty, his shoes were muddy,
but there was a sparkle in his eyes.
A young boy with a school bag walking toward his mother Zainab looked at him proudly and said,

Kulsoom added, “If he becomes one, other children will dream too!”

“Poverty may stop us, but it cannot stop our dreams.”“This is my son… One day, he will become a doctor!”
Mother lovingly placing her hand on Ali’s head Rasheeda gasped, “A doctor? The first from
Zainab gazing at the sky with hope Ali looked at his mother and softly said,
“Ammi, I promise—I will become a doctor.”
