Should Rolly Romero Fight Devin Haney Next?

In a recent interview with the Danza Project Podcast, Rolly Romero spoke some honest truths about the state of boxing. He explains how fighters duck each other by hiding behind money, promoters, and their undefeated records to duck each other.

Rolly explains why the Shakur vs. Devin Haney fight didn't happen at 135. When asked about a potential fight between himself and Devin Haney, Rolly said that a fight can always happen, but he prefers not to fight Haney because he's a boring fighter.

I don't know if fans want to see this new version of Devin Haney fight again. When you see a fighter take a fight or flight position in the ring, that's not good.

When a pure boxer fights a puncher, it's normally entertaining. But when the pure boxer is gun-shy and decides to run, it's a style boxing fans can't rock with.

You know boxing has changed when Rolly Romero starts making sense. Maybe I'll stall him out for now. In other news, Erickson Lubin will face Keith Holmes of Flint, Michigan, tomorrow night on ProBox TV.

The undercard is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM EST. Lavonte Earley, who is trained by 2023 trainer of the year Brian Bomac McIntyre, will face off against presser fighter Jorge de Jesus on the undercard.

Coach Malachi will be in the building. In other news, Manny Pacquiao comes out of retirement after 4 years to face WBC title holder Mario Barrios. This fight won't become official until after the elections in the Philippines.

For Manny to come out of retirement at 46 years old tells the story. Manny is broke and needs the money. I hope the old man and living legend don't get seriously hurt in this bout.
