Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) serves as the primary gateway to Las Vegas and the surrounding Clark County area. Located approximately 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada, the airport covers 2,800 acres and operates four runways. It is owned by Clark County and managed by the Clark County Department of Aviation. Previously known as McCarran International Airport, it was renamed in December 2021 to honor former U.S. Senator Harry Reid, reflecting a shift away from the legacy of Senator Pat McCarran, whose past associations were considered controversial.

As of 2024, Harry Reid International Airport handled over 58 million passengers, marking its busiest year on record. The airport is a hub for several major carriers, including Southwest Airlines, Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, JSX, and Spirit Airlines. It offers international flights to destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America. The airport features two terminals with five concourses, all interconnected by a people mover system. Notably, it is one of the few airports in the United States to have slot machines within its terminals, underscoring its deep ties to Las Vegas's entertainment culture.
