Zion Canyon National Park Shuttle System and Stops

Zion National Park's shuttle system is a vital component of the park's infrastructure, designed to reduce traffic congestion and protect the environment. The Zion Canyon Shuttle operates within the park, connecting the Zion Canyon Visitor Center to various points of interest along the scenic drive. Shuttles run approximately every 10–15 minutes during the off-peak season and every 6–10 minutes during the peak season, ensuring efficient transportation for visitors. The shuttle system is free to ride, and no ticket or reservation is required to board. However, during shuttle season, private vehicles are not permitted on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, including before shuttles begin operating and after they stop for the day.

The shuttle system comprises two main routes: the Zion Canyon Line and the Springdale Line. The Zion Canyon Line serves nine stops within the park, including the Visitor Center, Museum, Canyon Junction, Court of the Patriarchs, Zion Lodge, The Grotto, Weeping Rock, Big Bend, and Temple of Sinawava . The Springdale Line connects the park to the town of Springdale, stopping at various locations such as Zion Canyon Village, Flanigan’s Inn, Desert Pearl Inn, Zion Park Inn, Quality Inn & Suites Montclair, Driftwood Lodge, Park House Cafe, Majestic View Lodge, and the Zion National Park Visitor Center . These shuttle services are designed to enhance the visitor experience by providing convenient access to the park's attractions while minimizing environmental impact.
