In the movie "The Matrix," there was an intriguing character called Agent Smith who could move through the system, take over the body of anyone who was plugged into the system (i.e. unawakened) and deal with any threat to the system.

The 3D Matrix has its own guardians and mechanisms of control. Yes, there are certain guardians in the astral planes though the system also works through the minds of the unplugged.

If you speak with someone openly who is still plugged into the system you will soon sense certain shields coming up, a change in facial expression and tone of voice, and very quickly you are speaking with someone who is defending the old system.

This is because the 3D Matrix has been training them for some time. It began in the family, was continued in the schooling system and then in the workplace. This is how the system has programmed the human collective to survive.
