WEF Chair Once Called Water a Human Right ‘Extreme’—Now Says It’s Too Precious to Wash Your Car

Interim WEF chairman Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, who once called water as a human right an "extreme" concept, clarifies his position:

"Everyone should have enough... water to meet their fundamental daily needs... but not to fill a pool, or wash a car."

"Water scarcity is the greatest challenge we face today, and we need to start recognising water as a precious resource."

Bold words from a man who likely owns multiple mansions with swimming pools, and a fleet of luxury cars that get washed (with water) on a frequent basis.

Also, somebody might want to inform him that 71% of the Earth's surface is covered by water, so it's not exactly a "scarce" resource.
