Episode 9: Victory and the Shadow of an Old Enemy

The Fall of the Haddorim Homeworld

As swiftly as the Stellar Republic of Tiamat had fallen to the Haddorim Empire, the UEA military moved just as quickly to reclaim the lost territories. With superior warships, mechanized armies, and orbital firepower, the UEA war machine carved its way deep into the heart of Haddorim space. By December 21, 2280, the final blow was struck. The Haddorim home system fell. Their capital world, Haddi Sara, was now under complete UEA occupation. For a century , the Haddorim had stood as one of humanity’s greatest enemies, a xeno empire that had once challenged Earth’s expansion into the stars. But now, they were reduced to scattered resistance cells, engaging in desperate guerrilla warfare.

Their empire, once feared, had crumbled.

August 13, 2283 – The Empire of Haddorim Surrenders

With no hope of victory, the Haddorim leadership had no choice but to surrender to the UEA. The terms of surrender were severe but calculated: The Haddorim Empire would turn over all occupied territories and star systems it had seized from the Stellar Republic of Tiamat. In return, the Haddorim would be allowed to continue existing—but only as a mere shell of its former self, a vassalized rump state under strict UEA oversight. The UEA government accepted. The Haddorim threat was neutralized, and with the war goals met, humanity once again expanded its dominion.

The Fate of the Haddorim – Tolerated, Not Accepted

With the war over, a new question arose:

What to do with the remaining Haddorim people? For years, the UEA’s xenophobic policies had been clear: Aliens were inferior, their existence tolerated only when it served humanity’s greater interests.

Yet, in a surprising move, the UEA government granted the Haddorim a conditional “Resident Status.”

They would be allowed to remain in UEA-occupied space.

They must work and contribute to human society or face deportation to the remaining Haddorim rump state.

Any sign of resistance, subversion, or disloyalty would be met with swift and decisive retaliation.

This decision was not made out of compassion but pragmatism. The Haddorim could never be accepted, but as long as they remained productive and obedient, they would not be exterminated.

March 22, 2290 – The Search Ends. The True Enemy is Found.

For decades, UEA intelligence operatives and black ops teams had searched across the entire galaxy for one singular goal: To find the aliens who attacked Earth in 1996. And now, they had succeeded.

According to a Galactic Community database that UEA agents had infiltrated and decoded, the enemy’s location had finally been pinpointed. They were in the galactic southeast. The records provided no official name for these creatures. But humanity already had a name for them.

The "Korinth Swarm."

A name derived from Korinth, Greece, the first landing site of their genocidal invasion on Earth nearly 300 years ago. An invasion that had claimed billions of human lives. A full-scale analysis confirmed the truth—these were the same creatures. There could be no mistake. The Korinth Swarm still existed. For now, they were far beyond UEA’s reach. But that wouldn’t be the case forever.

The true war was yet to come.
