Loving Like the Galatians

Is it possible to lose our child-like faith? What would that look like? In the letter to the Galatian church, Paul demonstrates the contrast between the church's original love for him and they the danger they are now in because of an acceptance of false teaching. How might the visible display of our love for another be a measurement of our closeness to Christ?
