India-Pakistan truce 'pushing pause' on deeper conflict: analyst

A fragile ceasefire was holding between India and Pakistan on Sunday (May 11), after hours of overnight fighting between the nuclear-armed neighbors. The two sides agreed to stop the conflict the day before, following U.S. pressure and diplomacy, but with the animosity between the old South Asian enemies stretching decades, foreign policy analyst Daniel Markey said the ceasefire is "more of just pushing pause on a much deeper conflict."
